Support of Aida Quinatoa

I, Aida Quinatoa, important lawyer and leader of social movements, for example against evictions and in support of Ecuadorian migrants, an important lawyer and leader of social movements for example against deportations and in support of Ecuadorian migrants, want to express my solidarity and inform that I have known Dr. Boaventura de Sousa Santos for more or less 18 years, I have met him in international meetings with the social sectors of different representative organizations of this continent.  in which I can assure you that he has always been very attentive, respectful and kind in his behavior. The lectures broadcast were always brilliant and with a social justice content, in which he left the audience motivated to know more, after his intervention he listened carefully to us the doubts.

Since I was president of CONADEE and then spokesperson of PAH Madrid, I have maintained communication with the sociologist and intellectual Boaventura de Sousa Santos, whose main characteristic is his critical thinking on injustices. To make social struggles visible, to explain and analyze unequal knowledge and practices, in particular those produced in the countries of the South, within the framework of a new scientific paradigm, which includes the social and the political. It should be noted that it is prestigious and internationally recognized, from Portugal to universities in Brazil and other Latin American countries.

I also want to make it clear that the doctor in question has never shown a macho attitude or a lack of respect and for this reason, the accusations that are gratuitously made against him are unbelievable.
